What Group Fitness Class In Amarillo Should I Try?

If your solo workouts are getting a bit stale, try a group fitness class. There are many benefits to group classes. Aside from the fun, social atmosphere, group classes can be motivational. You cheer each other on, give support and get support. There are a ton of classes available at the Downtown Athletic Club, so which one should you try?

What Group Fitness Class Would Be Best For Me?

Deciding which group fitness class is right for you depends on your current fitness level, goals and interests. Sometimes the best way to find the right class is to just try a few to see what you like. If you are new to fitness, you may want to consult a personal trainer who can point you in the right direction. The following are a few classes that are available:

Total Body Conditioning

If you are looking for a serious workout with serious results in just 30 minutes, then this one might be for you. This class provides a combination of strength training and cardio for a well-rounded workout.

Flow Yoga

What's great about the classes offered here is the variety. If you are a yoga practitioner, this Vinyasa style yoga group is for you.

TRX

TRX (total resistance training) is a great way to increase strength, flexibility and balance with a focus on core strength. This is a great class for all ages. If you have never tried TRX, come on in and give it a shot.

Roll And Relax

Sometimes you and your body need some TLC. This is the perfect class to give it to you. This class includes gentle stretches, self-massage and myo-fascial release, which helps alleviate muscle discomfort and restore movement.

Zumba

Sometimes you need to break out of your routine and do something different and fun. Zumba is just that -- a fast-paced group class that is fun, energetic and provides an intense workout.

This is just a sampling of the classes available. You can also take advantage of bikini bootcamp, trek, keiser cycling and lift. Whether have been working out and involved with fitness and are looking to add variety, or you are a fitness newbie looking for a way to get started, there is a group class for you.

One way to find out if a class is right for you is to try it. You can pop in to a class and check it out -- there is no need to commit. Group classes are an excellent way to achieve your fitness goals and help stay motivated. They are also a good way to change up your routine when things get boring or you’ve hit a plateau.
